Artist's note:

I enjoy painting landscapes but rarely have the time these days for more than the occassional canvas. Our inclement weather doesn't help much either. However, one day, I've promised myself to paint more. I have chosen just a few examples to show the wide range of styles I enjoy painting.

A view around Henley-on-Thames
Cotswolds scene oil on board 2001
Rapid sketch of view from artist's studio 1987 painted in just three colours, black, white and yellow ochre.
This Old Masters style landscape was a pastiche after Hobbema using traditional techniques of the 17th century. Basically, I have selected a well know painting and re arranged the composition to please myself.

Very reassuring to hear of the successful removal of floaters. I have had cataracts removed from both eyes with good success but was told there was no remedy.

Hi Jillian

I'm afraid the painting to which you refer, was sold about ten years ago and I have no idea where it is now.

Sorry I can't be more helpful.
