'The Lute-player', copy after Frans Hals (1584-1666) oil on canvas. the above painting was unfinished when photographed in 1994, the time of it's execution but has since been completed and is in a private collection.
Here, the artist is shown with Sir Douglas Bader. The battle scene background was painted in 1979 for a commercial exhibition in Brighton the same year.
'Strawberries in A Chinese bowl' copy after Frans Snyders (1579 - 1657) painted in 1979 the original was once in the artist's possession.

Very reassuring to hear of the successful removal of floaters. I have had cataracts removed from both eyes with good success but was told there was no remedy.

I'm afraid the painting to which you refer, was sold about ten years ago and I have no idea where it is now.
